My name is Bethany, and I’m twenty-two and a recent college grad. I want The Minimalist Homebody to be an online space that encourages you to cultivate gratitude for what you already have and foster an appreciation for the simple things in life. I’ll be writing about simple living, sustainable fashion, home decor, conscious consumerism, hygge, natural living, and a variety of other minimalist lifestyle topics. I want to help you create a beautiful home and life all while focusing on the things that matter most. I believe that we can love beautiful things and have an eye for aesthetics without buying into a culture of consumerism.
A bit about me: I love nature and the countryside, have an obsession with plants, drink too much tea, go through journals at a ridiculous pace (I process everything by writing), and love obscure indie music. I was born in England and moved to America twelve years ago, and I’m a dual citizen. I just graduated from a small liberal arts college with a degree in literature. Writing is essentially like breathing to me.
